- Abstract
- Synthesis of bifunctional monoderivatives of dicarboxylic acids from the class of amides with different lengths of the hydrocarbon radical — monodecylamide of succinic acid, monobutylamide and monododecylamide of phthalic acid — was carried out to study the relationship between the change in the structure of the alkyl radical and the structure of the dicarboxylic acid and their surface properties at the gas–liquid interface. The surface activity of the synthesized compounds was studied by the tensiometric method. From the surface tension isotherms, the critical micelle concentrations, the regions of synergism for binary mixtures were determined, and the values of the Gibbs energy of the micellization and adsorption processes at the gas–liquid interface were calculated. Under laboratory conditions, using the example of binary mixtures of potassium butyl xanthate and synthesized reagents, the optimal ratio at which the greatest synergistic effect is observed was determined.
